Obituary:

William Stadden, a former citizen of Dayton, this county, but who has been an inmate of the insane asylum at Elgin for the past three years, died in the asylum on Friday. His remains were taken to Dayton for burial. His aged mother, as well as several brothers and sisters live there. He was about 47 years of age. He was buried on Sunday by Occidental Lodge, No. 40, A. F. & A. M., of this city, of which body he was a member.¹
