East avenue, Oak Park, beloved husband of Myra; devoted father of Ruth Baker, Helen Pottenger, Ethel Holmes, Warren, Arvey, and Wray Jacobek; grandfather of 12. Funeral Sunday, Oct. 9, 1 p.m., at chapel, 5128-30 W. 25th street, Cicero. Interment Dayton, Ill. Member of Oak Park lodge, No. 540, A. F. & A. M. Olympic 2-0090.1

Services for Walter D. Brown, 74, of 1037 S. East av., Oak Park, retired employee of Carson Pirie Scott & Co., will be held at 1 p. m. tomorrow in the chapel at 5128 W. 25th st., Cicero. He died Thursday. He was a member of Oak Park Masonic lodge for 50 years. Surviving are his widow, Myra, three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Holmes, Mrs. Ruth Baker, and Mrs. Helen Pottenger, and 13 grandchildren.2
