Mrs. Rebecca Trumbo
Mrs. Rebecca Green Trumbo aged 86 years, widow of Oliver Trumbo, died Monday morning at the home of her daughter Mrs. Van Etten, in Mendota. Her demise is attributed to the infirmities of old age.
Mrs. Trumbo was born Sept. 8, 1830, in Rutland township, being the daughter of John and Barbara (Grove) Green, with whom she moved to Dayton in 1831, where she had lived continuously ever since.
In 1854 she became the wife of Oliver Trumbo, who died in 1905. Mrs. Van Etten is the only surviving child.
The funeral was held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 20, at the home in Dayton. Interment was made at Dayton.1
