Obituary:

Mrs. Lana Masters, Formerly of Dayton, Dies; Rites Tuesday

Mrs. Lana Masters, 93, a former resident of Dayton, died yesterday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. William Holmes of Lake Geneva.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. tomorrow at the Gladfelter Chapel. Burial will be in the Dayton cemetery.

Born in Pennsylvania, July 12, 1849, Mrs. Masters came West when she was a young woman and was united in marriage in 1868 with Miles Masters at Bureau Junction. They moved to Dayton in 1891, where Mr. Masters died in 1909. A son, Gilbert Masters, of Dayton, also is deceased.

Surviving Mrs. Masters are three daughters, Mrs. Holmes and Mrs. Mae Jordan, both of Lake Geneva and Mrs. Ruth [sic, should be Rush] Green of Dayton; a son, Pliny Masters of Colorado Springs, Colo., and grandchildren.1
