Mrs. Ella G. Riley, 93, Dies; Resident of Lutheran Home

Mrs. Ella Green Riley, 93, of the Pleasant View Lutheran home died at 4:45 p. m. Saturday at the home. She had been there three years.

Funeral services were held at the Gladfelter Funeral chapel at 2:30 today, the Rev. I. J. Knutson officiating. Burial was in Dayton cemetery.

Pallbearers were Frank Farley, Ed Farley, Wilmont Van Etten, Charles Clifford, Russell Green and Harold George.

The daughter of Mary and Jesse [sic, David] Green, she was born July 8, 1852, in Dayton township. She was married to Dr. W. S. Riley.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Misses Minnie and Carrie Green, Mrs. Alice C. Allen, and Mrs. Ada McMillan, and by four brothers, Charles, Will, Schu and George.¹
