Dorothy V. Masters
Dorothy V. Masters of Evanston, Ill., died Sunday morning, Feb. 7, at the Georgian Retirement Home in Evanston, where she lived for 10 years.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Dayton Cemetery, with the Rev. Rex Fliess of Christ Episcopal Church officiating. A memorial service will be conducted later at an Evanston Church.
Miss Masters was the daughter of A. Pliny and Barbara (Green) Masters. She was employed many years at National Broadcasting Company in Chicago in charge of Broadcast Standard Department until her retirement. She was a member of the Unitarian Church of Evanston, AAUW, Illini Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, Illinois Genealogical Society, Chicago Genealogical Society and Dayton Cemetery Association.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Norman Alter of Hawaii, also nieces, nephews and cousins including Mrs. Howard (Ruth Brown) Baker of Leland, Mrs. Charles (Grace Green) Clifford of Dayton and Mrs. Mildred (Masters) Summins of Ottawa.
