Funeral Here Tuesday for Mrs. Masters
Mrs. A. Pliny Masters, 74, of Colorado Springs, Colo., formerly of Dayton Twp., died Tuesday at Colorado Springs. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gladfelter Chapel. Dr. C. W. McClelland, pastor emeritus of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Dayton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday.
Mrs. Masters was the former Barbara Green, born June 17, 1875 in Dayton Twp., the daughter of Isaac and Mary Jane Trumbo Green. She was married June 24, 1899, to A. Pliny Masters. They moved to Fairbault, Minn., shortly after their marriage and later moved to Colorado Springs.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. [sic] Dorothy Masters of Evanston and Mrs. Norman Alter of Hawaii. Mrs. Ruth Green of Dayton is a sister-in-law of the deceased. A brother and sister preceded her in death.1
