ALVIN TANNER, DAYTON TWP RESIDENT, DEAD

Alvin L. Tanner, aged 79, died at 4:30 this morning at his home in Dayton, following an illness of several months. Funeral services will be held at 1 o’clock tomorrow afternoon at the family home, and interment will be in Dayton cemetery.

Mr. Tanner was born October 2, 1848, near Elgin, Ill. He came to Dayton 43 years ago and since that time had made his home there.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ida Tanner and two children, Warner H. Tanner and Miss Cora B. Tanner and one grandchild, Howard A. Tanner, all of Dayton.¹
