Elmon Ogden Wilson, 68, of Ottawa RFD 1, died Tuesday at the LaSalle County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at the Gladfelter Chapel with the Rev. E. J. Larson of the Evangelical United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Dayton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p. m. Thursday.
He was born March 16, 1904, in Bloomington to Vernon and Adelia Bennett Wilson. He was married to the late Loretta Fitzpatrick Wilson and was a former employee of Scherer Freight Lines.
He is survived by a brother, Theodore of Ottawa.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be James Buckley, George Pinske, Deryl Wilson, and Wilson Vernon Wilson, and Terry Wilson.1
