LAST RITES FOR MISS HITE WILL BE HELD HERE

The body of Miss Alcinda Hite, 84 years of age, who died in Council Bluffs, Iowa, will arrive in Ottawa tomorrow morning. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon, at the Ottawa Baptist church. Interment will be made in the Dayton township cemetery.

Miss Hite formerly was an Ottawa resident, having moved about twelve years ago to Council Bluffs. Her remains will be taken to the home of her neice [sic], Mrs. O. H. Thompson of 6 Girdley [sic] place.

Miss Hite is survived by one brother, David Hite, of Nebraska, a brother-in-law, Ben. Babcock, of Iowa, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ida Garlington and two nieces, Mrs. John McGrath and Mrs. O. H. Thompson of Ottawa.¹
