DESCENDANT OF ILLINOIS PIONEERS DIES

Mrs. Sarah Green, 89, of 841 Gunnison st., member of an Illinois family dating back five generations, died yesterday in Belmont Community hospital.

Mrs. Green was born in a farm home in Harding, La Salle county, one of four daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harding Olmstead. She was married June 15, 1914, to Alfred E. Green of Peoria, and their only child, Winfield, was born in her parents farm home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Ottawa, Ill., with burial in a pioneer family cemetery at Dayton, Ill. Besides her son, surviving are two grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a sister, Mrs. Edith Miller.¹
