Mrs. Ruth Green

Mrs. Ruth Green, 90, of Pleasant View Luther Home, died Saturday morning at Pleasant View.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Gladfelter Chapel, with the Rev. Curtis Schowalter officiating. Burial will be in Dayton cemetery. Visitation began at 2 p.m. today at Gladfelter’s.

Mrs. Green was born Nov. 4, 1878 in Somonauk to George and Mary Vosburgh Haight. She was a resident of the area all her life. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and of the Ottawa Woman’s Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles Clifford of Dayton and Mrs. Arthur W. Eichenberger of La Grange, and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in 1944, and one son.¹
