Gone to Rest
On Saturday last, at her home in Dayton, Ill., Mrs. Ira W. Davis departed this life, at the age of 34 years. Mrs. Davis was the daughter of our well-known townsman, Mr. L. C. Shepard, and until about three years since was a resident of this city. Her amiable ways and character won for her the high esteem and friendship of a large circle of friends and acquaintances, who keenly feel the loss they have sustained by reason of her demise. A husband and three children survive her. The funeral was held at Dayton on Monday. Mr. Davis has the heartfelt sympathy of his numerous Menasha friends in his sad bereavement.1
