Obituary:
Died – Frankie R. Trumbo, at eight o’clock on Saturday morning, of malarial fever. Age 7 years, 3 months and 8 days.
Frankie was the light and joy of her home, and by her death a place is left vacant that cannot be filled until that joyful meeting of families on the other shore.
Having attended school but a little over a year she had reached a grade seldom attained by a child of her age, and won the warmest love from teachers and schoolmates.
The floral offerings were beautiful, an anchor of white flowers from her little schoolmates being among the most beautiful and touching tributes.
After a sickness of seven weeks her life went out on earth to bloom the brighter in heaven.1
